PRE-BOOKING MEETING
This is an important meeting in helping you to decide that we are the photographers for you before you book. We will talk through the timings and detail of your day with you in a relaxed atmosphere,to ensure that we will be able to deliver our style of photography and fulfill your requirements to provide you with the gorgeous photographs that you will be investing in, whatever the weather on your day.
We want you to experience first hand the sumptuous wedding album choices we have available and to see the striking quality of our printed images so that you can truly appreciate what we have to offer. All of our albums narrate the story of a complete wedding day, evocative of our unique style.
BOOKING
We are always delighted to be given the opportunity to photograph a wedding and we will secure your date on receipt of a booking fee of £300. We will write to you with a receipted invoice and to confirm your booking. Between this time and your Wedding day we will have a series of telephone calls to check on progress and timings and to arrange the pre-wedding shoot and venue visit.
VENUE VISIT
Usually on the same day as the pre-wedding shoot (because we know there are large demands on your time in the lead up to your Wedding) we will arrange to visit your venue(s) with you. We will sit down and go through the precise timings of your day over a drink, discussing the locations for our ‘alone’ time with you and for the formal photographs.
We will then move on the Pre-Wedding Shoot which can be taken at the venue or go on to a pre-arranged venue for these.
PRE-WEDDING SHOOT
When you book your wedding with .skp. this pre-wedding shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other a little better and build what we are sure will be a good working relationship. It will help you to feel relaxed in front of the camera and most of all will give you the opportunity to have fun and allow us to capture some charming images.
The images taken will then be available to view via our website so you can select your complimentary print selection, choose your framed Signature print, if you are having one, and you will also have the opportunity to make additional purchases if you wish; framed engagement prints make delightful parent gifts for the Wedding Day.
THE WEDDING DAY
We will usually arrive up to two hours before the Wedding to photograph the important bridal detail, bubbly bridesmaids, and the bride’s final preparations. We are very aware of high anxiety and nerves on the day and are experienced in remaining unobtrusive whilst capturing all the excitement of the pre-wedding preparations. We are also more than happy to help out with fiddly necklace clasps and shoe buckles for little ones and we have been known to carry items to the Church or wedding venue in our car.
We will then meet up with the groom and groomsmen to capture some informal shots before the bride’s arrival. If the groom has arranged a pre-wedding sporting activity, such as a round of golf, we can also capture this as well.
We will then be with you both throughout the day until the evening festivities have commenced; if you are having fireworks late into the evening, we can arrange to stay on to capture these.
PROOFING
Once captured, your photographs will be expertly enhanced by Steve to form a collection of strikingly beautiful images which will be ready for you to view on your return from your honeymoon. This will either take the form of a proof brochure or private viewing depending on the Selection you have made. If you have selected a proof brochure, this will be sent to you approximately three weeks after the wedding day.
We will be on hand to expertly guide you through your print selection for your album to make the whole experience an enjoyable one. You will of course have the opportunity to view a range of additional products which you may wish to purchase, such as framed prints, acrylics or canvas blocks as well as ideas for Thank You gifts and Thank You cards.
ALBUM COLLECTION
We will prepare a unique album design for you and will liaise with you over the layout . A proof of the layout will then be sent to you for your final approval, before your album is ordered and assembled.
Your album will be ready within approximately 8-10 weeks of final layout approval, and we will telephone you to arrange a convenient date and time for collection. We always prefer albums to be collected in person, but we understand this may not always be possible. In that instance we are happy to arrange for special delivery which will be charged at cost.
