MEETING US
Although not essential, this is an important meeting in helping you to decide that we are the photographers for you before you book. We will talk through the timings and detail of your day with you in a relaxed atmosphere, to ensure that we will be able to deliver our style of photography and fulfill your requirements to provide you with the gorgeous photographs that you will be investing in, whatever the weather on your day.
We also want you to experience first-hand the fantastic wedding album choices we have available and to see the striking quality of our printed images so that you can truly appreciate what we have to offer. All of our albums narrate the story of a complete wedding day, evocative of our unique style.
BOOKING US
We are always delighted to be given the opportunity to photograph a wedding and we will secure your date on receipt of a booking fee of £300. We will write to you with a receipted invoice and to confirm your booking. Between this time and your Wedding day we will be in contact to check on progress and timings and to arrange the Just US shoot and venue visit.
VENUE VISIT/JUST US SHOOT
Usually on the same day as the pre-wedding shoot (because we know there are large demands on your time in the lead up to your Wedding) we will arrange to visit your reception venue with you. We will sit down and go through the precise timings of your day, discussing the locations for our ‘alone’ time with you and for the formal photographs. This will need to be on a weekday as we busy with weddings on weekends, as are the venues.
When you book your wedding with .skp., the Just Us shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other a little better before your Wedding Day. It will help you to feel relaxed in front of the camera and most of all will give you the opportunity to have fun and allow us to capture some fabulous images.
A selection of the images taken will then be available to view via our website allowing you to select your complimentary print, choose your framed Signature print if you are having one, and you will also have the opportunity to make additional purchases if you wish; framed engagement prints make delightful parent gifts for the Wedding Day.
THE WEDDING DAY
We will usually arrive up to two hours before the Wedding to photograph the important bridal detail, bubbly bridesmaids, and the bride’s final preparations. We are very aware of high anxiety and nerves on the day and are experienced in remaining unobtrusive whilst capturing all the excitement of the pre-wedding preparations. We are also more than happy to help out if a spare pair of hands is required with buttonholes, children’s shoe buckles etc.
We will then meet up with the groom and groomsmen to capture some informal shots before the bride’s arrival. If the groom has arranged a pre-wedding sporting activity, such as a round of golf, we can also arrange to capture this, subject to timings and distance.
We will then be with you both throughout the day until the evening festivities.
YOUR PROOFS
Once captured, your photographs will be expertly enhanced by Steve to form a collection of strikingly beautiful images which will be ready for you to view on your return from your honeymoon. This will take the form of a proof magazine which will be sent to you approximately 2/3 weeks after the wedding day. All the images will also be available to view on a password protected gallery with the option to buy online.
We will be on hand to expertly guide you through your print selection for your album, if needed. You will of course also have the opportunity to view a range of additional products, such as framed prints, acrylics or canvas blocks and Thank You cards.
YOUR ALBUM
We will prepare a unique album design for you and will liaise with you over the layout . A proof of the layout will then be sent to you for your final approval, before your album is ordered and assembled.
Your album will be ready within approximately 8-10 weeks of your final layout approval, and we will telephone you to arrange a convenient date and time for collection. We always prefer albums to be collected in person, but we understand this may not always be possible. In that instance we are happy to arrange for special delivery which will be charged at cost.
